Blue John Marketing

Bluejohn Marketing Ltd was established by John Batty in May 2003. Bluejohn undertakes marketing and business development projects, with particular expertise in the construction, utility, medical and manufacturing sectors.

Over the past four years Bluejohn has built up an extensive portfolio of clients across the United Kingdom: from national PLC’s and the NHS to smaller local companies.

In January 2007 John applied for, and received, funding from the Second Steps grant fund towards the development of a new website: www.bluejohnmarketing.com.

John’s objectives for the website were for it to make the company more proactive and to be a marketing tool to enable Bluejohn’s services to reach a broader client base than would otherwise have been the case.

John said: “The development of the Bluejohn website has provided an immense boost to the profile of the company. It has enabled Bluejohn to create a strong ‘digital’ presence well ahead of schedule.”

Due partly to the success of the website project, John is now looking to move Bluejohn into new offices which will provide the space to enable it to tackle larger and more complex marketing projects.

He added:

“Anita and her colleagues went out of their way to provide answers to any questions that arose. Feedback was quick and their enthusiasm was a catalyst in the project’s success”.
