Q: What was the process for you joining The NE Group

I studied for a BA in Film Production at Sheffield Hallam University and although I enjoyed the creative aspects to this course and film making is one of my passions I felt that I wanted to move in to a more business orientated environment and role. I had a couple of temping jobs before I came to work here at the NE Group, both of which I enjoyed on certain levels and both of which provided me with some relevant experience but I felt I wanted to get more involved with the companies that I was working for and use my potential to the full.

After contacting the The NE Group and going in for a chat I went back to job hunting. I was delighted when I was contacted by them some weeks later and asked to go in for an initial assessment because an opportunity to be part of a graduate training programme at The NE Group had arisen. After succeeding to win a place on the program I have since been placed working in the marketing department. So far I have found my role at the organisation to be incredibly varied and rewarding, I have been able to transfer the skills that I learnt at university to assist me in my job and I am really enjoying it. The experience that I continue to gain is invaluable.
