Business Support provider Nottinghamshire Enterprises are celebrating the fact that they have been awarded full compliance status against Putting the Customer First ® - The National Standard for Customer First.

The Customer First Standard is based upon achieving and maintaining an excellent approach to customer service within the organisation and Nottinghamshire Enterprises achieved full compliance on their first assessment, something only 27% of organisations achieve at first attempt.

The standard covers three key areas of focus, which are:

Building Customer Relationships
Maximising Market Awareness
Developing Your People

Linda Shepherd, Nottinghamshire Enterprises Chief Executive said:

"We are really pleased to have achieved the Customer First standard at our first assessment. The whole process has taught us a lot about our approach to customer service and we have implemented some new processes to ensure that everything that we do is focused on improving and developing the experience that a customer receives from Nottinghamshire Enterprises."

Chair of Customer First UK, Helen West OBE, who initiated the standard more than six years ago, says: "Putting The Customer First is a `must-have' for all customer-facing businesses. We are delighted that Nottinghamshire Enterprises has recognised the benefits of the standard to its development and has excelled at accreditation."
