One Year On and Blackburn House is Thriving!Go Back to: News and Events Tue 11th Sep 2007 It is just one year since North Nottinghamshire Enterprises became the new owner and manager of Blackburn House (formerly know as Boughton Pumping Station) and the building is thriving. Over 250 conferences have taken place in the last year and we have welcomed over 6,000 visitors to the site. The building is now occupied by 11 tenants and a further 4 have a registered address here.
The building is now home to businesses from various industry types, including a Beauty Salon owned by beauty therapist Clare Coleman. Clare chose Blackburn House as the venue to locate Cinderella's Beauty Salon as she could see that the services on offer were what she needed to help her to grow her business. Clare said: ‘I have found the help and support from everybody at Blackburn House fantastic. The premises are second to none, and compliment my business, reflecting a calm, tranquil, and professional image!' Another of our new tenants are In Car Network, jointly owned by brothers Matt and Nick Janaway, the business sells in car audio equipment over the Internet. During their search for offices Matt and Nick viewed various premises, but chose Blackburn House due to the additional services that are on offer which include:
Matt said: "Blackburn House offers great benefits for ourselves and we see a very bright future together".
