A staggering 10 people who work for or on behalf of Nottinghamshire Enterprises have been awarded with the national Institute of Business Advisors (IBA) accreditation. This award is a great addition to Nottinghamshire Enterprises' impressive portfolio which offers a comprehensive range of business support services to organisations throughout the region. This prestigious accreditation has over 100 measures which have to be achieved to satisfy the qualification. The 5 Star Standard accreditation is a fully quality assured programme of professional training and rigorous assessment, it has met the Business Link competencies for Business Advisers and is also endorsed by the Small Firm Enterprise Development Initiative (SFEDI). Customers can rest assured that what they are being told is informed and up to date.
These services have already helped over 1000 SMEs and start-up companies in the financial year of 2005/2006; the accreditation will ensure the best advice is given to their customers, which in turn will enable them to make the best decisions to develop further. Spencer Prewett, Business Strategy Manager and now, IBA accredited advisor at Nottinghamshire Enterprises says, "I am extremely proud that 10 members of our workforce have taken on such high standard of training and have all passed with flying colours! Such a trusted accreditation will help us to stand-out in the marketplace and enable us to continue to provide the best service and support to our customers. We believe in developing our staff to achieve the best for them, for our business and not least, for our customers, and I am please to announce that a further 5 members of staff are now undertaking the accreditation as a result of its success."
