The regions Centre for Technology Excellence (CTE) has once again achieved extremely positive feedback from its clients after recently conducting a satisfaction survey. 91% of clients rated the projects services as either ‘Good' or ‘Excellent'.

The CTE service was originally established over 3 years ago as a pilot project designed to support small to medium sized businesses based within the East Midlands to develop their use and understanding of Information Communication Technology (ICT). To date the project has provided support to 596 businesses.

The services provided by the CTE have also increased during this time and the CTE's latest service is an ICT Capital Grant Fund which has been set up to provide financial support towards ICT capital expenditure projects. Grants are available (subject to eligibility requirements being met) for companies to access up to 40% of the cost of ICT capital equipment up to a maximum of £3,000.

The survey also highlighted a range of extremely positive client comments, which included:

".....Superb support and advice, not only for myself, but as a Marketing Consultant for small businesses I can direct my clients"
Diane Carter, Marathon Marketing Company, Nottinghamshire

"As a small independent business it is good to be able to pick up the phone and ask for some advice....."
Colin Rowlands, The Belt and Braces Food Co Ltd, Lincolnshire

CTE Project Manager, Matt Bust said:
