Training

Training enhances career prospects, improves self esteem and increases job satisfaction.

The NE Group offers both funded and private training towards recognised work based qualifications to help individuals become more effective in their job roles. Learners are allocated their own trainer/assessor who will support them throughout their progress and who will visit them every four weeks or more if necessary.

Available qualifications include:

NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications) and QCFs (Qualification Credit Frameworks)
These qualifications are nationally recognised and focus on learning and development whilst in the workplace. Both require a portfolio of work experience to be collated and do not require an exam to be taken

Functional Skills:
These are designed to develop and individual’s confidence with Maths, English and ICT.

Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships:
These include an NVQ, Functional Skills and in most cases a technical certificate. Apprenticeships are set at Intermediate (level 2) and Advanced (level 3). Higher level Apprenticeships will be coming soon.

eNVQs:
ENVQ and ICQ – These are the on-line portfolio systems The NE Group use so no paper-based files need to be collated and information can be accessed 24 hours a day.

Training is available to anyone with no previous qualifications being required, however eligibility criteria will apply to funded qualifications.
