Reiss Stenson Joins TAGplus
Reiss Stenson has joined Clifton based Safety and Workwear suppliers TAGplus, through the NE Group apprenticeship scheme.
With previous experience in staff recruitment selection and practical skills acquired from his time in electrical installations, Reiss brings valuable talents to the TAGplus team.
Commenting on the appointment, TAG’s Service & Sales Director Ian Cairney commented;

New Gates open for Georgina
Apprentice Georgina Harrison is fast forwarding her career with local award winning estate agents, Whitegates. Working with The NE Group, Georgina is currently working towards her NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration but already has plans for progression up her chosen career path.
Originally from Reading, Georgina (17) now lives in Sutton in Ashfield and began working at Whitegates Mansfield in March this year when she was just 16. Having begun in an administration role within the lettings department, her potential was quickly spotted by Branch Manager Avril Davis; “Not only did Georgina come across as being very mature for her years but proved to be extremely professional and a quick learner. It soon became obvious that she would be well suited to a role within our sales department and so, after just one month with us, she moved into a Sales Negotiator role” commented Avril. “We’ve been particularly impressed by Georgina’s willingness to learn and be part of our team. She is a quality candidate who knew exactly the area she wanted to work in and we’re pleased to be able to support her. She is the perfect example of what can be achieved through the Apprenticeship route and is testimony to the potential employees that can be secured through The NE Group.”
Training Pays Off for Melinda
After initially joining the NE Group in 2008 for three months work experience to improve her spoken English, Melinda Kelemenne Kult was taken on by the NE Group as a Receptionist. She is now a valuable member of our staff.
We soon recognised that Melinda had much more to offer than was required for her reception duties and she started working part-time in our accounts department. This soon developed into a full-time position with Melinda effectively working through a number of changes including a new Manager and another member of staff suffering a tragic time. Melinda showed great empathy for her co-worker and certainly helped the department through a tough time.
